During my Master’s program, I spent time researching the properties of X-ray imaging detectors - which may not sound too exciting but I assure you, the opportunity to bring learning to life thrilled me immensely. At present I have completed two degrees in Electrical Engineering and served as a Teaching Assistant at Concordia University, and so I consider myself to be a very qualified Math and Science tutor. I am very proud to be a teacher. Imparting knowledge and playing an important role in the academic growth of a student is a very satisfying and noble job. I know first-hand how overwhelming it can be to be taught Math and Science because of all the jargon. This is why I pride myself on my ability to break content down, making it simpler and easier to understand for students that are struggling with the subject. Understanding the terms is the first step to understanding larger concepts. And in order to reach this point, tutoring is often necessary. Tutors help students achieve a deeper understanding of the content they could not grasp during normal class time. Tutors form an essential part of any student’s academic success and education is the basis of personal growth and professional success.
